No. 9 Drexel Falls to No. 7 Stanford in Day Two of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championship

PHILADELPHIA - The No. 9 ranked Drexel women's squash team fell short to No. 7 Stanford on day two of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-4. With the loss, the Dragons drop to 5-6 on the season, while the Cardinals go to 5-4. Stanford will now go on to face No. 5 Virginia on Sunday in the championship match.
Claudia Adam got the Dragons off to a quick start in the ninth spot, defeating Leah Rosenblatt McGillicuddy 11-5, 11-6, 11-7. Emma Bartley followed in the fourth spot with a win of her own, besting Miriam Cheng 11-8, 12-10, 15-13.
Dina Rosli was victorious in the seventh spot over Khushi Kukadia 11-7, 6-11, 11-8, 11-2.
Margot Prow rounded the match out in the first spot, going the distance in the win over Si Mia 11-12, 13-11, 11-8, 6-11, 11-7.
The Dragons conclude the tournament on Sunday when they face Georgetown at 10 a.m.
