Dragons Defeat Campbell at the DAC for 11th Straight Home Win

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Luke House led four players in double figures with 18 points as the Dragons won their 11th straight game at the Daskalakis Athletic Center with an 81-66 victory against Campbell. The Dragons are now 17-10 overall and 10-4 in league play. Campbell fell to 12-15 and 6-8 in the CAA.
Drexel was in control throughout. The Dragons used an early seven-point run to take the lead for good midway through the first half. House had a big first half, knocking down four 3-pointers and scoring 12 points. As a team Drexel made eight of its 13 long-range attempts in the half and led by a score of 38-26.
The Dragons extended the lead to as many as 27 points in the second half. Campbell made the score closer by scoring 13 straight points late in the game. Kobe MaGee had another solid game off the bench with 15 points and eight rebounds. Justin Moore chipped in with 13 points and four assists, while Mate Okros had three treys and 11 points. Amari Williams was saddled with foul trouble but had five rejections in just 16 minutes. Lucas Monroe led the Dragons with nine rebounds, while Garfield Turner added eight points and eight rebounds. Drexel finished the game shooting 47 percent from the floor and outrebounded the Camels, 40-29.
Anthony Dell'Orso led the Camels with 23 points. Jasin Sinani added 16 points, while Laurynas Vaistaras scored 11 points and had eight rebounds.
With the victory, Drexel has won at least 10 league games for the third straight season. It is the first time the Dragons have achieved that feat since the 2011-12 season. In addition, the Dragons have now won 17 games for the second straight year
Drexel will play its next two games away from home. The Dragons visit Hofstra on Thursday and then Delaware on Monday, Feb. 26.
