Drue Nicholas had the best round of the day at Waynesville Inn and Golf Club. The senior fired a one-under 69 on the par-70, 6,720-yard course and tied for 14th place. Caleb Taylor ended the tournament at 4-over par, while Griffin Mitchell finished at 10-over par (220). John Stevenson completed his first tournament at the school at 225.
Lipscomb led from start to finish and shot 11-under par over the three days, eight shots better than Kennesaw State. Coastal Carolina placed third, one stroke behind Kennesaw State and one shot in from of the host, Western Carolina. The Catamounts were at 1-under par. Fifth place belonged to Xavier at +13, one shot better than Drexel and James Madison.
