PHILADELPHIA - Elise Duffy tallied for the second time this season as the Drexel women's soccer team (3-4-2, 1-0-1) took down NJIT (3-6-1, 0-1) in a non-conference match up Thursday night at home. With the victory, the Dragons stay unbeaten at Vidas Field, posting a 3-0-1 record in Philadelphia.

Joella Chase made her fourth start at goalkeeper for Drexel. The graduate student from Rutherford, New Jersey made one save on the night, collecting her second shut-out win of the 2024 season.

The only goal score in the contest came in the 21st minute. Casey Touey ran down the middle of the field, dishing the ball to Duffy right in front of the net. The Furlong, Pa. native's shot was deflected, but still rolled past the Highlanders goalkeeper Samantha Constantine for the score.
