Women's Squash Drops Match 8-1 to #6 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Drexel women's squash lost to sixth ranked Virginia 8-1 on Sunday afternoon. The Dragons move to 6-5 on the season.
Awande Malinga defeated Maureen Foley 3-1 in a close match (11-9, 12-10, 5-11, 11-8). Dina Rosli put up a strong fight, taking a two-game lead against Maria Min before falling in five games (8-11, 5-11, 11-7, 13-11, 11-6). Emilia Falconi also extended her match but lost to Maria Moya 3-1 (11-6, 9-11, 13-11, 11-6).
Next on the schedule is the CSA Individual Championships in New York, N.Y. on January 24th-28th.
