Dragons Conclude Road Stretch at Stony Brook on Thursday

STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Drexel finishes its three game road swing on Thursday at Stony Brook. The Dragons and Seawolves tip-off at 7 p.m. in a Coastal Athletic Association game. Drexel has split the first two games of the trip. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
About Drexel
The Dragons head into the game with a 9-6 record after splitting their first two CAA games. The Dragons won at North Carolina A&T on Saturday after falling at Campbell. Yame Butler scored 24 points in the win against the Aggies. Kobe MaGee, Shane Blakeney and Jason Drake each added nine, while Cole Hargrove blocked four shots. As a team, the Dragons tied a season-high with nine blocks in the game.
About Stony Brook
The Seawolves begin play with a record of 4-11 and 0-2 in league play. Stony Brook opened the conference season with losses at Monmouth and at home to William & Mary. C.J. Luster II and Joe Octave each average 13.7 points per game. As a team, the Seawolves shoot 40 percent from the floor and 30 percent from long range.
The Series
Drexel and Stony Brook have only met three times. The Seawolves lead the series, 2-1. Last year Drexel won the regular season meeting in Philadelphia, 90-86, behind 25 points from Justin Moore. The teams met again in March, where Stony Brook defeated Drexel in double overtime in the CAA Quarterfinals in Washington, D.C., 91-88. Luke House had a career-high 28 points for the Dragons.

The Dragons return to the DAC on Saturday when they host Towson at 2 p.m. The Tigers are the preseason favorites to win the CAA.
