Foster Named CAA Defensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel's Natali Foster has been named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Foster played a pivotal role on both ends of the field for Drexel, totaling two goals and one assist over the weekend. The junior scored in Friday's matchup with Monmouth and added another goal and an assist in Sunday's 3-2 shootout victory at No. 20 Saint Joseph's. She also anchored a defensive effort that limited the Hawks to just six shots in the upset win. Foster now has three goals and two assists on the season.
Drexel returns home to host CAA opponent Towson on Friday, October 17, at 4 p.m. at Buckley Field.
