MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Eleven members of the Drexel field hockey team were named to the 2025 Division I NFHCA National Academic Squad, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The NFHCA National Academic Squad honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. This year, more than 1,100 student-athletes from 82 institutions were recognized nationwide.
Drexel's honorees include Natali Foster, Ella Haag, Fleur Hamers, Izzy Hendricks, Morgan Herceg, Phebe Herlocher, Lauren Kushma, Sage O'Connor, Alana Poole, Marti Sanabria, and Maya Williams.
The academic recognition follows a season in which the Dragons captured the CAA Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, continuing the program's commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
