Two Early Goals Lift Dragons Past Campbell, 2-1

BUIES CREEK, N.C. — Reese Power and Liv Brocious each scored as the Drexel women's soccer team took down Campbell Sunday afternoon, 2-1. The victory marked the Dragons' first win over the Camels in just the second meeting between the programs. DU improves to 3-6-8 overall with a 2-4-2 record in the CAA.

The Dragons struck quickly, finding the back of the net in just the 3rd minute of the match. Elise Duffy dished the pass to Power, who put away the chance for the score.

Campbell answered nearly a minute later. Ava Kanaar capitalized on a Camel's corner kick, scoring in the 4th minute for the equalizer.

In the 16th minute, Liv Brocious took it herself and slotted it home for the goal. The junior notched her third score of the season, with two of them serving as game-winners.

The Dragons return home to Philadelphia for the regular season finale against Towson on Sunday. Drexel will celebrate LMK and Alumni Day, with action kicking off at 1 p.m.
