Alencar, Cinga, Huth Earn CAA Weekly Awards

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel earned three CAA weekly honors following strong performances in Saturday's dual meet against Lehigh. Freshman Matas Cinga was named CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week, junior Mari Alencar was selected CAA Women's Co-Swimmer of the Week, and freshman Simon Huth received CAA Men's Diver of the Week.
CAA MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Matas Cinga
Cinga recorded two individual victories and contributed to a second-place relay in Drexel's 175–67 win over Lehigh. The freshman won the 150 free in 1:11.48, finishing more than two seconds ahead of the field, and added a convincing win in the 100 free with a time of 44.73. He also anchored the Dragons' runner-up 200 medley relay.
CAA WOMEN'S CO-SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Mari Alencar
Alencar posted three individual victories and added a relay win in Drexel's 145–97 victory. The junior swept the sprint freestyle events, taking the 50 free (24.09), 100 free (52.95), and 150 free (1:23.11). She also provided a 23.85 anchor split on the first-place mixed 200 free relay.
CAA MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Simon Huth
Huth delivered two top-two finishes on the boards in Drexel's win over Lehigh to earn his first weekly award. The freshman won the 3-meter competition with a score of 248.95 and added a second-place performance on the 1-meter at 225.95.
