Dragons Host Play4Kay Game Against William & Mary on Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel women's basketball team host its annual Play4Kay game against William & Mary on Friday night at 6 p.m. in the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The first 250 fans who enter the Daskalakis Athletic Center will receive a free t-shirt.
Last Time Out
The Drexel women's basketball team defeated the UNCW Seahawks, 68-55. The Dragons (12-9, 8-3 CAA) led the Seahawks (12-12, 6-5 CAA) for over 37 minutes.
Chloe Hodges finished the game with 17 points on 8-for-13 shooting. The senior also corralled six rebounds and five assists.
Four different Dragons chipped in at least 10 points. Hodges led the team with 17 and Grace O'Neill scored 12. Cara McCormack and Molly Lavin each scored 10 points.
Drexel outrebounded UNCW 41-22. The Dragons grabbed 15 rebounds on the offensive front and 26 defensively.
Drexel picked up 22 assists on 29 made field goals.
Scouting William & Mary
William & Mary enters the game with a 10-11 record and a 7-3 CAA mark. The Team is led by Bella Nascimento, who averages 16.2 points per game. The senior guard has scored 20+ points in six of the last 10 games.
After Nascimento, the Tribe have a number of players around the same average. Cassidy Geddes scores 9.2 per game, while Kayla Rolph chips in 7.5.
William & Mary only have four players who have seen action in all 21 games the team has played this season.
Erin Dickerson Davis heads the William & Mary program for the third year. In August, it was announced that Dickerson Davis' contract was extended through the 2029 season.

Hetta Saatman and Chloe Hodges each scored double-digits for Drexel, scoring 14 and 13 points, respectively. Hodges recorded eight rebounds and dished six assists in the effort.
The Tribe did the most damage inside the paint on Sunday afternoon, scoring 44 points. Of the teams 75 points, 42 came from the W&M bench.
Looking Ahead
The Dragons have a bye on Sunday afternoon and will take a week of recovery before heading to North Carolina to face the Campbell Camels and Elon Phoenix. The Dragons face Campbell on Feb. 21. The Dragons then travel to Elon on Sunday, Feb. 23.
