BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Dragons will compete at the 121st EIWA Championships in Bethlehem, Pa. Lehigh will host the tournament for the first time since 2020. Action from Stabler Arena will begin on Friday at 10 a.m.
Wrestlers from 12 schools will fight for a chance to head to Philadelphia for the NCAA Division I Championships at Wells Fargo Center. This is the first year the oldest college wrestling tournament will not feature the six Ivy League schools.
Drexel finished with a 11-10 record this season in dual competition, the most wins since the 2017-18 campaign. The Dragons took home the first ever EIWA Independence Division Dual Championship, ending a perfect 4-0 in the division and 6-1 in the conference.
Six Dragons in this year's lineup have previous EIWA Tournament experience. Cody Walsh and Dom Findora both reached the podium for DU in 2024. Mickey O'Malley is a four-time NCAA qualifier, and was a 2022 EIWA champion. He was the program's first-ever conference champ at 174-pounds, and the first overall since 2016.
