Drexel Athletics Posts Record Fundraising Success

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel Athletics and the Dragon Club achieved a record fundraising year in 2024-25, raising $2.16 million in cash, eclipsing the $2 million mark for the first time. Overall, more than $3.1 million in new gifts and commitments were made to support student-athlete success.
The $2.16 million in cash was a 77% increase and nearly $1 million more than the previous fiscal year. In total, 2,749 donations were made by 2,010 unique alumni, parents, fans and friends to the Dragon Club during the fiscal year.
"The support and investment of alumni, parents and friends is essential to providing resources and an infrastructure that contribute to an outstanding student-athlete experience and the success of our programs. The work of Assistant VP Bryan Davis and our staff sets a new bar for our department. We are grateful to our constituents, who believe in the mission of Drexel University Athletics." stated Vice President, Director of Athletics Maisha Kelly.
