- Email:
Bryan Davis was named assistant vice president for athletics development in June of 2024. In this role, Davis serves as the chief development officer for the Department of Athletics and has strategic oversight of fundraising and engagement efforts for Drexel’s 18 varsity programs, as well as club, intramural and recreational programs.
“We are thrilled to have Bryan Davis join the Drexel community and lead our athletic development and engagement efforts,” stated Director of Athletics Maisha Kelly. “The landscape of college athletics requires strategic efforts to generate resources that provide our student-athletes with a pathway towards success. We are excited to have Bryan share our story and broaden support for our student-athletes and programs.”
Davis arrived to Philadelphia from Iona University, where he has served on the athletics staff since 2016, most recently as Senior Associate AD for Development. Under Davis’ leadership, Iona athletics has generated the most annual unrestricted support in its history. He also introduced the 12 Days to Fight the Good Fight initiative in 2020; a campaign during the holiday season where each of Iona’s teams has a highlighted day of giving.
"My family and I are excited to join the Drexel community,” said Davis. “I want to thank Maisha Kelly and Christopher Brittin for entrusting me with this opportunity. Drexel has a rich history of excellent academics and athletics and I look forward to engaging with our coaches and alumni to help further the Dragon legacy."
Prior to Iona, Davis worked as a graduate assistant for the Goucher College men's soccer program, as well as in the athletic department at UMBC.
Davis received his undergraduate degree in business marketing from Monmouth University in 2011 and earned a master's degree in athletics administration from Goucher in 2016. While at Monmouth, Davis was a standout student-athlete for the university's men's soccer program, helping the Hawks to a top 25 national ranking, four Northeast Conference regular season championships and a pair of NCAA Championship bids.
A native of Glen Gardner, N.J., Davis and his wife, Courtney, have a daughter, Evelyn, and son, Tommy.
