Four-Goal Day From Hamers Leads Drexel to 11-0 Rout of LIU

Philadelphia, Pa. – Four goals from Fleur Hamers helped Drexel defeat the LIU Sharks, 11-0 in Drexel's first home game of the season. The Dragons improve their record to 2-1.

11 goals marks the most in program history. Topping the team's 10-0 win against Saint Francis on Sunday, September 3, 2006.
Hamers' four goals tie her for second in individual single game goals and points in a game.
Pili Lemoine tallied a hat trick for the Dragons.
Valentine Van Hellemot, Lily Haag, and Maya Williams all contributed a goal and assist.
Nicole Enslin scored her first goal of the season.
Cato Nackaerts, Sadie Schultz, and Phebe Herlocher all posted an assist.
The Dragons took 31 total shots. Of those shots, 25 were put on target.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dragons wasted no time getting on the board as Pili Lemoine took a pass from Lauren Kushma and sent it to the back of the cage just 40 seconds into the game. Two minutes later, the Dragons struck again off a penalty corner as Hamers received a pass from the top of the circle from Nackaerts and made it 2-0.
The Dragons finished the quarter finding the cage three more times as Hamers scored twice and Haag had one of her own. Drexel didn't let up in the second quarter as Van Hellemont scored just over a minute into the quarter. Hamers would score her fourth and final goal less than a minute after. Lemoine would finish up the scoring for the half scoring off a pass from Lily Haag.
Lemoine would finish her hat trick off a penalty corner assisted by Williams and Herlocher. With five minutes remaining in the game, Enslin rifled a shot from the top of the circle that went soaring into the back of the net. Williams would end off the scoring for the Dragons after an assist from Schultz.
