Drexel Falls 2-0 at Lafayette

EASTON, Pa. – Drexel field hockey dropped its first road match of the season on Sunday afternoon, falling 2-0 at Lafayette.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The game remained scoreless through the first half before Lafayette broke through in the third quarter on a goal from Laila Pasic. The Leopards doubled their lead in the 48th minute when Lauren Kurek found the back of the cage to make it 2-0. Drexel generated 15 shots, including nine on goal, but was unable to break through in the shutout loss.
BY THE NUMBERS
Drexel outshot Lafayette 15-6 and held a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal.
The Dragons also earned seven penalty corners.
Valentine Van Hellemont, Marti Sanabria, Natali Foster, Kylah Kelly, Anna Getty, and Halle Geiger each played the full 60 minutes.
