Three Dragons Named to Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-CAA Team

RICHMOND, Va. – Conor Hooley, Liam Kammar and Pat Lyman of the Drexel men's lacrosse team has been selected to the Preseason All-CAA Team ahead of the 2026 season. Drexel was the only school with three selections to the preseason list.
Hooley enters his final season as a Dragon with 61 goals, 40 assists and 101 points in his career. The Woodbury, Minn. Native finished his junior season with the Dragons ranked fourth in the conference in assists per game at 1.33 and was second on the team with 26 goals. Hooley was named to the CAA All-Tournament Team, after recording eight points in two games. In 2023, Hooley was named to the CAA All-Rookie team.
Lyman returns to Drexel's backline for his third season. During his sophomore campaign, Lyman was a key contributor on a line that allowed just 10.1 goals per game, which topped the conference. The Thousand Oaks, Calif. Native also grabbed 43 ground balls, which was a team-high and caused 14 turnovers, which was another team-high.
Liam Kammar earned a spot on the Preseason team after being one of the top short stick defenders in the CAA last season. He scooped 34 ground balls, which was third on the team. He also scored four goals for the Dragons. Since joining Drexel in 2023, Lyman has played in all 45 games.
In the CAA Preseason Poll, Drexel was picked to finish third in the seven-team field. Towson received six first place votes to earn the top spot. Fairfield received one first place vote to finish second. Drexel finished third with 25, followed by Hofstra, Stony Brook, Monmouth and then Hampton.
