Drexel to Conclude Homestand Against North Carolina A&T

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's basketball team is set to conclude its three-game homestand Saturday against the North Carolina A&T Aggies. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball. Tomorrow's game is also sponsored by United Bank of Philadelphia.
LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons improved to 11-11 (5-4 in conference play) on the season with a physical, 58-51, win against the Hampton Pirates Thursday evening. Josh Reed led the team with 14 points. Reed finished the night with four rebounds and a steal. Victor Panov had 11 points along with four rebounds, a career-high four steals and an assist. Shane Blakeney also had 11 points along with four rebounds, two assists and a block. Kevon Vanderhorst and Villiam Garcia Adsten both had strong nights defensively, finishing with a plus-minus point differential of 13 and 12, respectively. On defense, the Dragons outrebounded the Pirates 26-23. Drexel's bench outscored Hampton's 21-15.

The Aggies are 9-11 (2-7 in conference play) after falling to Monmouth in overtime on Thursday. They are coached by Monté Ross, in his third season at NCA&T. Redshirt freshman Lewis Walker leads the team with 19.1 points per game.

Drexel leads the all-time series 3-1. They won their matchup last season in Greensboro.
