Drexel Finishes Day Two of Peoples Championship in Eighth

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Drexel golf team shot a four-over-par in during the second round of the 2026 Peoples Championship at Sea Palms Resort to place in eighth. The three-day tournament, hosted by Western Carolina is played on a par-71 6,608-yard course.
Two Dragons shot even par or better. Caleb Taylor finished the round firing a one-under-par 70, while Kevin Lydon used a two-under-par 34 during the back nine to finish even par. Taylor is now placed tied for 14th, shooting two-under-par 140 across two rounds, while John Stevenson shot a two-over-par 73 to finish the second round placed tied for 25th at even par.
Drexel returns to Sea Palms Resort for one final round on Saturday. Tee times are set for 8:30 a.m.
