Women’s Rowing Travels to Florida for Sarasota 2K

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Drexel women's rowing team returns to Florida for the annual Sarasota 2K this weekend in Nathan Benderson Park. Heats begin on Friday, March 27 with the finals taking place on Saturday.

The Dragons will send four boats to the Sunshine State, marking their return to the event for the first time since the 2024 season. In their last appearance, Drexel's Varsity 8+ earned an eighth-place finish in the Grand Final.

A total of 13 schools from 10 different states make up the field. This includes Central Florida, Dartmouth, Miami, and North Carolina who were all recognized in the latest CRCA Poll.
