Men’s Rowing Has Competitive Day Against Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Drexel men's rowing team competed against Cornell on Cayuga Inlet Saturday morning, highlighted by the 4th Varsity 8+ team coming home with a victory.
Thomas Tran (coxswain), Samuel Lozek (stroke), Nathan Kover, Danilo Djokic, Cole Smiley, Aidan Seiger, Bartek Socha, Jack Brennan and Carter Lucas (bow) guided the Sandra Lee Sheller II to a first-place finish in 6:23.2, edging Cornell by 5.6 seconds.
Earlier in the day, Cornell's Varsity 8+ topped Drexel by 4.4 seconds in the opening race. The Dragons' 2V8+ followed with a second-place finish, crossing 3.5 seconds behind the Big Red, while the 3V8+ came in just under five seconds back.
