Women's Rowing Set to Honor Seniors at Kelly Cup

PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel women's rowing team returns to the Schuylkill River to compete at the Kelly Cup on Saturday, April 25. The Dragons will battle the Philadelphia boats of Jefferson, La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Temple. Racing will begin from Kelly Drive at 10:45 a.m.
Drexel will honor the following six seniors before Saturday's races at the Drexel Boathouse: Sabrina Batdorf, Charlotte Bentrim, Lauren Boyce, Sarah Ghazaz, Heather Humes and Ariana Townsend.
Last season, the Dragons secured three gold medals at the Kelly Cup. The Varsity 8+ captured the Cup for the third time in four years, while both the 2nd Varsity 8+ and 3rd Varsity 8+ also earned first-place finishes.
