Field Hockey Announces 2026 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel field hockey team has released its schedule for the 2026 season. The 18-game slate will feature two teams that reached last year's NCAA Tournament and three that finished inside the top-20 in the final national rankings of the season. In her 32nd season, head coach Denise Zelenak will lead the Dragons in ten contests at home, with four games against Philadelphia rivals.
The 2026 campaign opens with a pair of scrimmages, with Rutgers coming to Philadelphia on Aug. 15, followed by a short trip to Temple on Aug. 22.
The regular season gets underway as the Dragons travel to College Park for the Conference Cup. Drexel faces host Maryland on Aug. 28 before a neutral site matchup with JMU on Aug. 30.
The Dragons open their home schedule with a four-match homestand at Buckley Field to begin the month of September. Drexel hosts LIU on Sept. 4, followed by a rematch in the NCAA Tournament with Saint Joseph's on Sept 6. DU welcomes Wagner on Sept. 11 as Drexel closes the home slate with Lafayette on Sept. 13.
Drexel travels to Fairfield on Sept. 18 for their first games as conference opponents. The Dragons then head to Conshohocken to face Villanova on Sept. 20.
The Dragons return to Buckley Field for another four-match homestand, beginning with a matchup against University City rival Penn on Sept. 27. Conference play continues as Monmouth visits the City of Brotherly Love on Oct. 2, followed by a non-conference contest against Georgetown on Oct. 4. The homestand concludes with another CAA matchup as the Dragons host Hofstra on Oct. 9.
DU travels for back-to-back road games, starting with Lehigh on Oct. 11 and Towson on Oct. 16.
Drexel returns home for its final three matches in Philadelphia, opening the stretch on Oct. 18 against Lock Haven. The Dragons continue the homestand with a CAA matchup against Northeastern on Oct. 23, followed by a city contest with La Salle on Oct. 25.
The regular season concludes on Oct. 30 as Drexel hosts CAA opponent William & Mary.
Drexel will host the 2026 CAA Tournament at Buckley Field, with the semifinals being held on Nov. 4, followed by the championship on Nov. 6.
