Field Hockey Names Kaitlyn Stewart as an Assistant Coach

PHILADELPHIA – Kaitlyn Stewart has been named as an assistant coach for Drexel's Field Hockey team, as announced by head coach Denise Zelenak.
We are excited to welcome Kaitlyn to our coaching staff this season! Kaitlyn brings great energy and a grounded approach to developing goalkeepers, Zelenak said. Her experience building goalkeepers from the ground up will be an asset to our team, and we look forward to the positive impact she will have both on and off the field.
Currently, Stewart works as a goalie Coach for Krossfire Field Hockey Club, a local South Jersey field hockey club. Stewart works individually with goalkeepers, developing their skills and prioritizing their development and game awareness.
Additionally, Stewart previously spent time as an Athletic Communications Assistant at Penn, where she worked closely with their athletic teams, writing press releases, recaps and producing content for social media as well as their website.
I am incredibly excited to get started with the reigning CAA champions in the coming days, Stewart said. This team has so much promise and talent, and to be welcomed by everyone with open arms has been such a privilege. Thank you to the coaches for giving me this opportunity, and I'm ready to get to work.
Stewart was member of the Arcadia field hockey team in 2021. She graduated from Arcadia with a bachelor's degree in media and communications in 2024.
