PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel women's soccer team fell to Delaware Sunday afternoon, 3-1. All three of the Blue Hen's goals came in the first half as Olivia Bley scored a pair. The Dragons move to 4-3-1 on the season.

Prior to the game, Drexel women's soccer honored seniors Liv Brocious, Jess Castorina, Nia Chinapoo, Annie Clapp and Ella Oppedisano for their contributions to the program.

Delaware came out hot, scoring in the sixth minute. The ball fell to Ava Ticconi just outside the box as she fired a right-footed shot into the back of the net.

Delaware added its second goal in the 23rd minute. Ticconi found Adiat Olaogun-Dickson running down the right side of the field. She sent a cross into the box to Bley, who finished in front of the net.

The Blue Hens added one more goal just under six minutes later to close out the first half. Gabby Riley's shot was saved by Gracie Sullivan, but Bley collected the rebound and found the back of the net.

Liv Brocious got the Dragons on the board in the 53rd minute. Brocious stole the ball from the Delaware goalkeeper and found open space for her fourth goal of the season.

Delaware outshot the Dragons 19-9 in the contest, as Sullivan collected four saves.

The Dragons begin conference play as they host Northeastern on Sunday, September 20 at 1 p.m.
