PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel women's soccer team fell to Northeastern on Sunday in Philadelphia, 3-0. Lucia Arcila scored two of the Huskies three goals on the day. The Dragons drop the conference opener and move to 4-4-1 on the season overall.

The Huskies first goal came at the 22 minute mark of the first. Claire Murray took advantage of a Dragons penalty just outside the box, bending the free kick through the left side of the net for the tally.

Northeastern opened the second half with another goal, as Arcila scored her first of the day. Bridget Durkin sent a cross into the box, where Arcila managed to get a boot on it to make it 2-0.

Arcila scored her second goal of the match in the 82nd minute. A Northeastern corner kick deflected off a Drexel defender and fell to Arcila 18 yards out. The freshman fired a strike into the back of the net to extend the Huskies lead to three.

The Dragons begin a three day road-trip on Thursday, September 24 as Drexel faces Hampton at 12 p.m.
