NORFOLK, Va. — Four different Dragons found the back of the net as the Drexel women's soccer team knocked off Hampton, 4-1, Thursday afternoon. Riley Lukach added a career-high three points as the Dragons earned their first conference win of the season. Drexel improved to 5-4-1 overall and moved back above .500.

The Dragons opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Lukach found the ball outside the box and rocketed a shot toward the goal, sending it just under the crossbar for her second goal of the season.

Liv Brocious then capitalized on a Pirates foul to add another goal just 1:17 later. The senior converted the penalty kick with the right boot to double the Dragons lead. The goal moved Brocious into a tie for fourth in the CAA with five goals on the season.

Hampton cut the lead in half with just over a minute left in the first half. Nylah Jennings scored her second of the year, beating the Drexel defense for the strike.

Cam Schuler added to the Dragons lead in the 53rd minute, scoring the first goal of her career. Nia Chinapoo created the opportunity with a touch to Schuler, who fired through the right pocket for the goal. Chinapoo is now tied for first in the conference in helpers with five.

Drexel added one more in the 75th minute. Lukach's shot was stopped by the Hampton keeper, but Alex Rivera managed to step in front of the Pirates clear attempt and redirected the ball into the net for her second goal of the season.

The Dragons stay in the state of Virginia as they travel to William & Mary on Sunday. The match is set for 1 p.m.
