Cassidy Strittmatter joined Drexel as an assistant coach for the field hockey team ahead of the 2026 season.
Before joining the Dragons, Strittmatter served as an assistant coach at Seneca High School in Tabernacle, New Jersey. She assisted with practice planning and match preparation, helping guide the program to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 semifinals.
Additionally, Strittmatter has served as a seasonal club coach for Uprise Field Hockey Club in Voorhees, New Jersey, where she developed and organized training sessions for players ages ten to 16. She also assisted the JMU program as an intern for the 2025 spring season.
During her career at James Madison, Strittmatter was a four-year member of the field hockey team and earned First Team All-MAC honors as a senior. The two-time captain also garnered NFHCA All-South Region Second Team recognition and finished her career with 17 goals and 39 points. Off the field, she was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, earned Academic All-MAC honors, and was recognized as a Virginia Sports Information Directors Academic All-State selection. She also served as Co-President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Strittmatter earned her bachelor's degree in marketing with a concentration in digital marketing from James Madison University.
