2005: Team captain who anchored Dragons’ defense…tallied an assist in 3-0 win over UMBC…selected to ESPN The Magazine's 2005-06 Academic All-America Third Team…named Philadelphia Inquirer Field Hockey Academic Performer of the Year…also named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Team for the third-straight season.
2004: A Second Team NFHCA Division I Regional All-American and an All-CAA Second Team pick…named to the All-Philadelphia Field Hockey Team…selected to ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-District II First Team, the only player in any sport at Drexel to receive that honor in 2005…also named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Team…started all 19 games...scored her only goal in win at Bucknell.
2003: Voted Drexel’s Most Valuable Player...earned First Team Regional All-America honors and was named All-CAA Second Team...selected to All-Philadelphia Team and www.womensfieldhockey.com’s All-Rookie Squad...named to the NFHCA All-Academic Team...started in all 18 games...garnered three points with a goal and an assist.
Background: A two-time First Team All-Area and a First Team Pac-10 All-League selection at Owen J. Roberts High School...a two-year member of the Keystone Games A-team in 2000 and 2001...Walton and her team, Xcalibur, won two pool championships at the National Hockey Festival, as well as the 2002 National Indoor Championship...member of Futures National Tournament team.
