2016-17: One of Drexel's tri-captains...competed at the Phoenix Invitational in the fall...shot a 76 in the second round of the tournament.
2015-16: Emerged as a candidate for the fifth spot late in the fall…shot a 225 over three rounds at the ODU/OBX Invitational…carded a 74 in each of the first two rounds, his best scores of the season…closed the fall season with a 77 during the City Six Championships at Merion…appeared in Drexel’s final three tournaments of the spring...had a 75 in the opening round of the Finegan Invitational, his top round of the spring…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
2014-15: Became a regular contributor as a sophomore…played in all but one event in the fall and spring…carded a career-best 72 in the second round of the Keenan Invitational at St. Bonaventure…fired a 74 at the Patriot Intercollegiate…tied for third on the team with a 151 at the Villanova Wildcat Invitational…averaged 79.3 shots per round in his second season with the club…a CAA Commissioner’s Award Winner for academics.
2013-14: Moved into the number five spot on the team in the second half of the season...was the team's top finisher at the Navy Invitational, where he finished 13th overall...ended at +6 over the 36 hole tournament and fired a career-low 73 in the final round...was a CAA Commissioner's Academic winner.
Background: A native of Lansdale, Pa...attended La Salle College High School...was a four-year varsity letterwinner in golf and was team captain in his senior year...named All-Catholic and All-District in his junior and senior years...won three Philadelphia Junior Tour events.
Personal: Son of Bob and Jeni Fischer...father and uncle are both Drexel graduates...majoring in finance.
