2014-15: Primarily swam in the 200 IM…Swam in the prelims at the CAA Championships for the 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and 400 IM…his time of 4:06.52 in the 400 IM prelims at the CAA Championships ranked third on the team for the year…had four top-five finishes on the campaign.
2011-12: Finished first on the team in the 400 IM (4:05.08) at the CAA Championships that ranked fifth on the men’s All-Time Top 5 list…also, placed second on the team in the 200 IM (1:55.95) and had a season-best in the 200 breast (2:12.29) at the CAA’s...had a season-high in the 200 free (1:50.86) against Army…ranked fourth in the 200 back (2:02.32) on the season at the Terrier Invitational…recipient of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award.
2010-11: Recorded third place in 200 yard IM with a time of 2:02.28 and clocked in a second-place time of 3:10.66 in the 400 yard freestyle relay at La Salle.
Background: Three-year letter winner and team captain at Saline High School…2009 Scholastic All-American…CW state champions 2006-2010…NCSA Junior National qualifier.
Personal: Son of Lynda and Stephen Wittig…majoring in mechanical engineering.
