Bio
2013: Made 40 appearances, including 37 starts...had five doubles and nine runs batter in...finished with four multi-hit games on the season...went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two runs driven in at UNCW on Apr. 27...three of her four multi-hit games came during conference play, including two in the series against the Seahawks.
2012: Made 15 appearances, primarily as a pinch hitter...had a three-run home run at Saint Joseph's on Apr. 12, helping Drexel take a 4-1 lead in a game they ultimately would win 7-4...had three other hits on the season, all as a pinch hitter.
Background: A four-year letterwinner at Bishop Ahr High School...a three-time blue division champion, as well as one white division championship...helped her team to the 2009 Non-Public A State Championship and the 2010 Greater Middlesex County Champions...a 2007 All-Freshman team member...a three-time All-Blue Division honoree...also an All-White Division honoree...a 2011 First Team All-New Jersey selection, to go along with selections to the 2010 and 2011 Non-Public A State Team...holds her school records for career hits and home runs, as well as single-season records for batting average and home runs.
Personal: Daughter of Eleanor and Joseph Popek...intends to major in chemical engineering.
