2010: Played in career-best 28 games, mostly in key pinch-hitting situations, also set her career high for walks…recorded important pinch-hits against Iona, Lafayette and Penn…came up with an RBI hit in 5-0 win against Georgetown on March 23.
2009: Made 12 starts in the outfield and posted career-highs for doubles and RBIs…picked up a pinch-hit RBI double against Delaware State during the team’s run to the Capital City Classic Championship…went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs in Dragons’ win at Bucknell on March 25…registered her first career stolen base on March 7 against Marist.
2008: Recorded her first career hit, a home run, on February 15 in Drexel’s season-opening win against Georgetown…went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and 2 RBIs against Alabama State in her second career game…made eight starts and saw time in 22 games and was a key pinch hitter throughout the season.
Background: An outstanding two-sport athlete at Enloe High…pitched and played shortstop for four years in high school…named Most Outstanding Player as a senior and the team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior…a two-time All-Conference selection for softball…a High School Heisman nominee in 2006…also earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention for volleyball…named Enloe’s Outstanding Senior Athlete in 2007…four-time Academic All-Conference selection for softball and volleyball.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Karen Harrington…majoring in business administration.
