2007-08: Led team with 38 blocked shots, also ranked third in CAA in blocks per game…set her career high with four blocked shots in her first game as a Dragon, Nov. 9, 2007 at Loyola (Md.), matched it three times during the season...saw action in 26 games and made her first career start against Old Dominion on Feb. 24, 2008.
2006-07: Did not play due to NCAA transfer rules.
2005-06: Played at the University of Florida.
Background: A transfer from Florida who joined the Dragons in 2007-08…saw action in seven games for the Gators in 2005-06…teamed with Andrea Peterson at Archbishop Carroll High to lead the team to consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League Championships in 2003 and 2004…a McDonald’s All-American Game and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-American Game invitee in 2004…All-Delaware County and All-Catholic League selection in 2003 and 2004…honorable mention Street & Smith All-American…invited to adidas Top Ten All-American Camp…holds Philadelphia Catholic League records for blocked shots in a single season, with 106 blocked shots in 2004, and blocks in a game with 15 against Cardinal Dougherty in the 2003 league play-offs.
Personal: A business major…daughter of Douglas and Lisa Cornish….her mother, Lisa Ortlip Cornish played her Big 5 Hall of Fame career at Villanova in the early 1980s.
