2013: Started 17 of 18 games for the Dragons as a junior…scored two goals on the season against UMBC and Hofstra respectively…assisted Shyanne Kimbrough for the only goal scored against Villanova in the Dragons’ two-overtime tie…also had an assist to Lauren Stollar for the game-winner against UNCW…ranked sixth in the CAA for shots with 17 and fourth in conference for shots per game (3.06)...a 2013 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
2012: Appeared in 11 games in her second season with the Dragons…missed the first eight games of the year due to injury…scored a pair of goals and had an assist…made both of her goals memorable…her first goal was the only score of the match as Drexel beat William & Mary for the first time…in the next match, scored with just seven seconds to play as the Dragons beat James Madison on the road…it clinched the program’s first CAA playoff berth…now has four career game-winning tallies…a 2012 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
2011: Played well as a freshman…emerged as a starter in the midfield late in the season…was inserted in to the starting line-up against James Madison and scored the game’s only goal…finished her first season second on the team with three goals…also scored a game-winner against UNC Wilmington and had an insurance goal against Temple…handed out a pair of assists and ended the season second on the team with eight points…played in all 19 matches… a 2011 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
Background: Graduated from East Pennsboro High School in Enola…was a three-year letterwinner at center midfield…named a First Team All-Star from 2008-2010…broke the school single-season goal record as a senior with 24…captain of her team as a senior…was a Harrisburg Patriot Big 11 Honorable Mention selection…a three-year member of the National Honor Society and was a Vice President of the Girls Athletic Association…played on the Hershey Kickkats.
Personal: Daughter of Kevin and Jennifer Hammaker...has an older brother, Matthew…her grandfather played football at Georgia Tech and played in the 1948 Orange Bowl…an interior design major.
