2012-13: Took second place in the 200 IM to lock in Drexel's win against Lehigh... posted her best time in the 400 IM with a 4:39.62 putting her in third place in Drexel's all-time top five list.
2011-12: Placed first on the team in the 200 IM (2:10.61) at the CAA Championship that ranked fifth on the women’s All-Time Top 5 list…led the team in the 400 IM (4:45.43) against Lehigh…posted the second fastest time on the team in the 200 breast (2:29.85) at the CAA’s and the 100 breast (1:08.51) at the Terrier Invitational…established a season-high in the 100 fly (1:04.63) in the win over Howard…recipient of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award.
Background: Four-year letterwinner and senior team captain…helped set the county record in the 200 yard medley relay in 2011…Sectional qualifier in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, and 100 fly in 2010 and 2011.
Personal: Daughter of Mayra and James Heffernan…majoring in nursing.
