Appeared in 16 bouts on the year at 184 pounds…went 7-9 on the campaign, including 4-5 in duals, 3-4 in tournaments and 3-5 against EIWA foes…went 4-6 in decisions, 1-3 in major decisions and 1-0 in wins by fall, including his fastest of 49 seconds against Virginia’s Jack Walsh (Jan. 26)…placed second at the Appalachian State Open (Jan. 26)…went 1-2 at the EIWA Championships…member of the team that owned the nation’s highest team GPA at 3.63…earned the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Academic Achievement Award for the first time.
