2017-18: Finished with a 19-18 record as a redshirt senior at 174 pounds…placed seventh at EIWA Championships…at-large NCAA qualifier…placed seventh at the Southern Scuffle…had one win by fall, three technical falls and two major decision victories…ranked No. 33 in the final NCAA Coaches Panel Ranking.
2016-17: Earned a seventh-place finish at the EIWA Championships at the 165 weight class for the second year in a row…went 21-12 on the year as a redshirt junior with five major decisions and three wins-by-fall…went 6-4 against EIWA opponents and 10-7 in dual competition…helped the Dragons defeat No. 25 Princeton after earning a major decision in his individual match…also placed fourth at the Keystone Classic.
2015-16: Totaled 21 wins on the season which was good for fourth best on the squad…recorded four major decisions, four technical falls, and three pins on the year as Drexel’s primary starter at 165 pounds…went 9-8 in dual action and 7-2 against EIWA opponents…placed second at both the Road Runner Open and the F&M Open…also finished fifth at the Keystone Classic…secured a last-second pin in the final match of the dual to solidify Drexel’s win over rival Rider…earned a seventh place finish at 165 at the EIWA Championships, reaching the podium for the first time in his career.
2014-15: Did not see action.
2013-14: Redshirted.
Background: Attended Central Dauphin High School…two-time PIAA team wrestling champions...team also placed second and third during his high school career…placed fifth at PIAA states in 2013 and was a qualifier in 2012…finished third place at the Beast of the East tournament…three-time sectional champion and three-time district place winner…also played lacrosse.
Personal: Son of Lisa and Manny Rose…majoring in construction management.
