2017-18: Sophomore season... at the 2017 Thomas Murphy Invitational placed third in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:01.26... Drexel men placed first at the 2017 Thomas Murphy Invitational with a score of 954.50... at the 2017 Patriot Invitational, participated in the 100 free (47.50), 400 free relay (3:07.95), 200 free relay (1:25.79), 50 free (21.53), 800 free relay (6:57.60)... Drexel men placed first at the 2017 Patriot Invitational with a score of 779.
Background: Swam four years for his Central Bucks East and Mercersburg High Schools swim teams...earned All-American status in the 100-yard freestyle…a state champion...also was a state champion for his high school’s track team.
Personal: Son of Anna and Taras Zhugayevich…has a younger sister, Olga…his mother is a Drexel graduate…majoring in engineering.
