Bethlehem, Pa. –Drexel men's tennis lost, 4-3, to Lehigh in a non-conference tennis match. The Dragons split the six singles matches, but the Mountain Hawks won two of the three doubles matches to earn the decisive point. All three of Lehigh's singles victories were three-set matches.

No. 1 singles player Omar Laalej (Meknes, Morocco) defeated Alfredo Fernandez Concha after dropping the first set in a tie-breaker. Drexel also picked up victories at No. 2 and No. 3 singles as Joe Koebele (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) won in straight sets while Carlo Pangilinan (Somers Points, N.J./Mainland Regional) led 5-0 in the first set before his opponent retired. Laalej and Koebele teamed for Drexel's only win at doubles.

The Dragons return to the court on Wed, Feb. 28 for a match at Penn's indoor courts. The first match will begin at 3:00 p.m.
