Dragons Top St. Francis, 4-1

Loretto, Pa. - Drexel toppled St. Francis (Pa.), 4-1, in a non-conference field hockey game played at DeGol Field. The Dragons got goals from four different players as they upped their record to 2-1 on the season. The Red Flash drop to 0-2 on the season.
Sophomore Jennifer Bolger opened the scoring with her first goal of the season while Christina Mastropaolo notched her first career goal to give the Dragons a 2-0 lead heading into halftime. St. Francis scored on a breakaway to cut the Drexel lead to one goal, but freshman Kim Tunell came up with her first collegiate goal on a pass from Amanda Kicera. Kicera put the game out of reach minutes later as she scored after taking a pass from Carolina Gibernau.
For their next game, the Dragons will open its home season with a Wednesday night game against city-rival, Villanova. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
