Philadelphia – Drexel's Zineb Hilali and Gozde Unkaya closed out the Dragons' fall season with a strong showing at the Wilson/ITA Eastern Regional Championships hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. Playing at nearby Levy Pavillion, the Dragons settled in early with an 8-2 win over Ansley Scudder and Sarah Sykes of Lafayette in the doubles championship draw. The Drexel pair fell to a tough Yale team in the second round 8-4 but did much to serve notice to the regional tennis community.

In the singles championship draw, Drexel's lone entrant, Zineb Hilali, fell to Marshall's Isabell Raich in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. Hilali wraps up her fall season with a 5-3 overall record. As Drexel's top doubles team, Hilali and Unkaya posted an 8-2 overall record in the fall, including a perfect 6-0 mark in dual match play.
