Dragons' Winning Streak Halted by Delaware

Orlando, Fla. - Drexel saw its six-match winning streak come to an end at the rackets of CAA rival Delaware in Florida. The Blue Hens edged Drexel 5-2 in a match up of local rivals on spring break in Orlando. Omar Laalej improved to 17-5 on the season at first singles with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Austin Longacre.
Joe Koebele and Carlo Pangilinan won the team's lone match in doubles play, taking an 8-5 victory over Camilo Perez and Andrew Blumberg at second doubles. Sabayaschi Bose also topped Perez 6-1, 6-3 at fifth singles, giving the Dragons their only other victory in singles play.
The Dragons return to Philadelphia to take on crosstown rival La Salle on April 1 on Broad and Olney in a 3:30 p.m. match.
