Men's Tennis Dominates Coppin State, 6-0

Philadelphia - Drexel men's tennis followed up its nailbiter victory over Saint Joseph's with a tour de force in a 7-0 win over Coppin State. Omar Laalej improved to 19-5 on the season in singles play. The Dragons dropped just five games on the singles side and swept doubles to lock up the team point.
Freshman Jason Savage-Pollock won his first match playing at fourth singles in dominant fashion. 6-0, 6-0 over Ian Lovergie. Carlo Pangilinan dropped just one game in a straight-set win at third singles. Junior Joe Koebele got back on track with a 6-2, 6-0 win over James Jeffreys at second singles. Koebele and Pangilinan teamed to top Jeffreys and Lovergie 8-1 in doubles play.
The Dragons travel to Hofstra this Saturday for a noon dual match against the Pride before returning to Vidas Athletic Complex for the team's Senior Day match against Delaware State.
