Dragons Complete Final Tune-Up Before Dad Vail Regatta

Philadelphia - The Drexel men's and women's rowing team completed the Bergen Cup Regatta on the Schuylkill River in the Dragons' final regatta before the Dad Vail Regatta. Both the Drexel men's and women's varsity eight took third place against Philadelphia area competition.

The Drexel women's varsity eight finished behind first-place Saint Joseph's and just 0.9 seconds behind second-place Philadelphia University. The Dragons crossed the line at 6:54.1. The men's varsity eight finished behind Saint Joseph's and Temple as the Dragons clocked a 5:59.4. The women's junior varsity eight took second place ahead of Temple but behind Saint Joseph's with a time of 7:14.0. The men's junior varsity eight took third with a time of 6:22.8. Both the men's and women's novice eight took third place in their respective races.

The Dragons will compete in the Dad Vail Regatta on May 9 and 10 on the Schuylkill River.
