
Women's Tennis Bounces Back With 4-3 Win at Lehigh

Bethlehem, Pa. - Sonja Stosic won the clinching match for Drexel in straight sets over Liz Piscitelli 6-2, 7-5 as the Dragons rebounded from a loss at Temple on Saturday to pick up their 10th victory of the season. Zineb Hilali and Gozde Unkaya also won at first and second singles, respectively, and the Dragons won two of three doubles matches to earn a team point.
Hilali dispatched her opponent, Allison Schwartz, in straight sets 6-2, 6-0 to remain undefeated in dual match play this spring. Unkaya also won her match, over Arelia Cohen, 6-2, 6-0 to give her team a point. The two teamed at first doubles for a shutout win over Cohen and Schwartz, 8-0. The Dragons nationally ranked doubles pairing of Elize Leizerovich and Anahita Jagtiani, who are ranked No. 54 in the nation by the ITA this week, won 8-5 over Ruthie Furman and Stacy Reich, 8-1.
The Dragons are back in action on Saturday when they reprise with Saint Joseph's, a team they beat 6-1 in the fall, on Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Upper Dublin Racquet Club at 1:00 p.m.
