The Drexel women's soccer team opens CAA play this weekend with a pair of road matches. The Dragons (4-4) face Georgia State on Friday night in Atlanta and then play UNC Wilmington on Sunday afternoon. It should be a good test for the Dragons, as Georgia State is 6-2-1 on the season, while the Seahawks are the defending CAA champions.
Drexel has won three of its last four matches, including a 2-0 shoutout against city-rival La Salle. The Dragons have had a balanced scoring attack this season. Jenna Lindsay leads the club with six points. She has a pair of goals, as does teammates Alex Vazquez and Sam Greenfield. Kim Chiarelli has a team-high three assists. Victoria Troccoli and Nicole Sinclair have split the duties in goal.
The Dragons return home to host Hofstra on Sept. 30.
