Delaware and Drexel Renew Rivalry at the DAC on Saturday

Philadelphia - The Drexel men's basketball team renews its rivalry with Delaware this weekend at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Dragons and Blue Hens meet on Saturday at 4 p.m. in a game that can be seen live on The Comcast Network.
Drexel is looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Despite the tough week for the Dragons, the team is still 9-4 on the season. The Dragons lost a 52-48 decision at VCU on Wednesday night. Chris Fouch had 14 points and Dartaye Ruffin added 12 points and a career-high 12 rebounds in the game as the Dragons fell to 1-2 in the CAA. The Drexel defense played well, holding the high-powered Rams to just 29.5 percent shooting in their home arena, but Drexel committed 23 turnovers which led to 13 points for the Rams.
Drexel enters the game second in the CAA in scoring defense, allowing just 59.8 points per game. Drexel is outrebounding its opponents by 13 boards per game, the second-best total in the nation behind only Pittsburgh.
The Blue Hens are 7-6 overall and 2-1 in the CAA. Delaware defeated William & Mary on Wednesday, 61-48. Jawan Carter leads the Hens in scoring with 16.2 points per game. Jamelle Hagins has been one of the most improved players in the CAA. He is averaging 10.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and is fourth in the nation in blocked shots with 47.
