Olean, N.Y. – The Drexel golf team placed fifth of seven teams in the 25th annual Leo Keenan Invitational hosted by St. Bonaventure which concluded play on Tuesday. The Dragons combined to shoot 304 in each round, scoring a 608 on the tournament.

Sophomore Christopher Crawford tied for 11th place overall after carding 74-74—148, putting him five strokes behind the tournament-winning Garrett Browning of Robert Morris. Freshman Yoseph Dance carded a 76-76—152 in his first appearance as a Dragons to tie for 22nd place.

Vincent Anagnos placed 26th with a line of 74-81—155. Alex Kane and Scott Forrester both tied for 31st, shooting a 80-78—158 and a 82-76—158 respectively.

The Dragons return to action on Saturday, Sept. 21 as they travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to compete in the Cornell Invitational. The tournament will consist of three rounds, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Saturday's first round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. with the second round immediately following.
