
Dragons Place 11th at Old Dominion/OBX Collegiate Invitational

Team Individual
The Drexel golf team competed the Old Dominion/OBX Collegiate and placed 11th out of 16 teams. The Dragons closed on a high note, shooting a 292 on Tuesday and completed the 54-hole tournament at 893.
Chris Crawford had another top ten finish for the Dragons. The junior finished at one-over-par in the event. He was one-under on Monday and finished with at even par on Tuesday. Crawford's 214 was impressive, but Gaston Bertinotti of Campbell shot a remarkable eight-under par over the three days to earn medalist honor. Drexel freshman Adam Mistretta shot an even-par 71 on the final day after posting scores of 75 and 73 in the first two rounds. He finished at 219. Sophomore Yoseph Dance and freshman Avery Schneider each shot a 75 on Tuesday. Dance ended the tournament with a 226, while Schneider had a 237.
James Madison won the event with a six-over-par 858, four shots better than the University of Hartford. Maryland finished third with Campbell and the host ODU Monarchs rounding out the top five.
